ABOUT MACARON DAY

Introduced in paris, in 2005, by Pierre Hermé and Relais Desserts …

The Jour du Macaron tradition arrived in New York in 2009. Le Panier joined the celebration and brought it to Seattle in 2012. Macaron Day was created to celebrate the French macaron, and to bring awareness to the work of a local organization.

On March 20 the proceeds of Le Panier’s macaron sales and souvenirs will benefit a local organization’s contribution to the community they serve.

As part of the celebration, our bakers are busily experimenting with new flavors they hope all will enjoy. Our Macaron Day flavor will be revealed soon - we can’t wait.
